FinancialTrackr is distributed exclusively through official app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store). By downloading and using our app, you agree to both this privacy policy and the respective app store's terms and privacy policies.
Information We Collect
Categories of Personal Information Processed:Depending on your use of our mobile app, we may have processed the following categories of personal information (as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act "CCPA" and other applicable privacy regulations) in the last twelve months:
Personal Identifiers: name, alias, email, device identifier, mobile advertising IDs (Apple IDFA, Android AAID), push notification tokens, IP address, etc.
Customer Records Information: name, address, telephone number, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information.
Commercial Information: products or services interaction, purchase history, app store transaction data, subscription information, etc.
Geolocation Data: location data derived from IP address or device location services (with your permission).

How We Collect Information
Information You Give Us Directly:We collect information that you give us directly, such as:
- Profile information, such as your name, alias, email, and password
- Information you provide to us while using our mobile app
- Information you provide when seeking help from us, such as your name, telephone number, and records of the issues you experience
- Billing information, such as your name, payment card number, payment account details, and billing address (processed through app store payment systems)
- App permissions you grant (camera, contacts, location, notifications, etc.)
Information We Collect When You Use Our App
We may collect other information automatically when you use our mobile app, such as:
- Information about your device, hardware, and software, such as your IP address, device identifiers, mobile device identifiers (Apple Identifier for Advertising [IDFA], Android Advertising ID [AAID]), platform type, operating system version, app version, device settings, and hardware specifications.

- App usage information, including features used, time spent in app, and navigation patterns.
- Device event information such as crash reports, error logs, system activity, and app performance data.

- App Store Providers: We share certain information with Apple and Google as required for app distribution, payment processing, and compliance with their platform requirements.
- Affiliates and Subsidiaries: We may share personal information with our companies in which we have an ownership interest as is necessary for the purposes outlined in this notice.
- Mobile Advertising Partners: We may allow third-party advertising partners to utilize mobile advertising SDKs and other tracking tools to collect information regarding your use of the app for targeted advertising purposes.

Where We Hold Your Information
Personal information we collect may be stored and processed for the purposes set out in this document in Canada and the United States, as well as in secure cloud storage services. You consent to the transfer of your personal data outside of your country of residence, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to recipients in countries that may not offer the same level of privacy protection as the laws in your country of residence or citizenship.
How We Protect Your Information
We use both technical and organizational measures to help protect your personal information, including encryption for data transmission and storage, secure authentication methods, and regular security assessments. However, we do not guarantee the absolute security of your information. You play a role in the protection of your personal information as well by keeping your device secure and managing app permissions appropriately.
Children
The app is not designed for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete their information from our systems and remove the app from their device if technically possible. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately.
Your Rights and Controls
You have certain rights over your personal information. You may exercise the following rights by contacting us directly and making a request. Prior to exercising the rights, we may require you to verify your identity (and in certain cases, the authority to exercise your rights), and we may also charge a small fee to fulfil the request.
App-Specific Controls:
- Manage app permissions through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy, Android: Settings > Apps & notifications)
- Control location access through device location settings
- Disable push notifications through app settings or device notification settings
- Manage advertising preferences through device advertising settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy >Apple Advertising, Android: Settings > Google > Ads)
- Delete the app and associated local data by uninstalling it from your device
Depending on where you are using our app, you may be entitled to the rights provided by the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Third-Party Services
Our app may contain connections to other third-party services or integrate with external platforms. If you interact with a third-party service through our app, you should consult that service's privacy policy as your use would be governed by their practices. This includes app store services, social media integrations, and external financial institutions.
